Sue Williams
Sue works on the Older People’s Programme organising the West Midlands Housing Learning and Improvement Network and chairing the Regional Single Assessment Network. She is also the Chair of the West Midlands Regional Telecare Network. On the Social Care Programme she works on the personalisation agenda as well as being involved in the Regional Direct Payments Network.
Alongside this, for the last 5 years Sue has also worked for the Association of Directors of Social Services in the region developing services for older people, largely through the Networks outlined above, and this has naturally led to an increasingly close working relationship with CSIP West Midlands.
As a social worker, Sue previously worked for Worcestershire County Council where she gained a varied range of experience in adult service management, staff development, inspection and more recently, commissioning and contracting.
