Roslyn Hope
Roslyn trained as a clinical psychologist and worked in services for people with learning disabilities for some years. She moved in to mental health services in 1989 to co-ordinate the closure of St Matthews Psychiatric Hospital and design new mental health services. She became Executive Director of Premier Health NHS Trust and led on mental health for five years.
In addition, Roslyn was the LIT Lead for South Staffs for three years. She was the Mental Health Lead for Birmingham and Black Country WDC and chaired the West Midlands Forum for Regional Education and Development in Mental Health.
Roslyn took up post as Director of the CSIP/NIMHE National Workforce Programme in January 2003 and also acts as the Workforce Lead for CSIP/NIMHE West Midlands.
She has led the development of products of the CSIP/NIMHE National Workforce Programme including:
- The Ten Essential Shared Capabilities Framework and learning materials [2004, 2007]
- New Ways of Working for Psychiatrists [2004, 2005]
- Mental Health Services-Workforce Design and Development [2006]
