Ranjit SengheraRanjit Senghera is the Race Equality Regional Lead. She previously worked for Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health Trust as Mental Health Promotion Manager/Standard One Lead for Mental Health Promotion. Prior to this, Ranjit worked for Northern Birmingham Mental Health Trust’s Asian Services Directorate as Public Educational Officer. Ranjit has extensive background in working in the mainstream voluntary sector and specifically the Black and Asian Community Voluntary Sector around a number of issues including Older Adults; Community Development; Communities & Mental Health; Advocacy Services; Arts Co-ordination and Asian/Black Carers.

Ranjit is a social researcher by training and has authored and co-authored a number of key programmes and projects across the country around race equality and health services for BME communities.

Ranjit works on the belief of developing effective capacity and community ownership with all communities, to improve the quality of Mental Health Services for all.
