Fran Tummey
Fran joined CSIP as the CAMHS Regional Development Worker mid July 2008. Her background is in mental health nursing, dating back to 1989, and Fran has a wide variety of experience across both adult mental health services and CAMHS, as both a clinician and manager. She is actively involved in service improvement and the development of new initiatives and training/ education programmes.
She is a trained and experienced Dialectical Behaviour Therapist and worked with teenagers and their parents developing and implementing a programme within CAMHS in Auckland, New Zealand. She has worked as a Senior Lecturer practitioner on health programmes, pre- and post- registration and freelance with both independent and voluntary sector mental health services.
Fran is also involved in the National CAMHs Support Service, part of CSIP Children, Young People and Families national programme, which is delivered across the regions of England, offering additional capacity to support the implementation of a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
