I am the Lead for the Mental Health Legislation Programme across the West Midlands and work directly with the national implementation team. I joined CSIP in November 2006 following a lengthy career in the NHS. My most recent appointment in the NHS was as Director of Integrated Mental health in a Health and Social Care organisation. I am a Registered Mental Nurse by profession. I am currently providing support, advice and project management on the implementation of the Amendments to the Mental Health Act , and the continuing implementation of the Mental Capacity Act..
