Anand Chitnis
Anand is a GP from North Solihull who has a passion for mental health services. He joined NIMHE West Midlands in April 2003 as the Lead for the West Midlands Trailblazers Programme, which focuses on collaborative working between people from primary and secondary care and beyond.
He is also part of the new International Trailblazers Project
which is run by the International Initiative for Mental Health Leadership (IIMHL) and NIMHE.
Anand assists Kate Glenholmes and David Shiers with the Primary Care Programme of CSIP/NIMHE WM. His main interest is in bringing education about mental health into mainstream grassroots services.
