Mike Rochfort
Mike Rochfort has worked for many years in the field of mental health social work in the West Midlands and worked in a wide range of settings including community mental health team, hospital, GP attachment and education. He left the local authority to join the NHS as a PCT Senior Commissioning Manager and later as a General Manager, which incorporated lead commissioning responsibility for older people.
As a senior manager in both health and local authority commissioning Mike has a wide breadth of knowledge concerning older people's services. He has a particular interest in early intervention and in the provision of home based support to older people. He is committed to raising the profile and quality of older people's mental health services and joined CSIP in October 2006 in order to facilitate the delivery of improved services.
